In South Africa in the early 1990s, a joke was making the rounds: Given the country’s daunting challenges, people had two options, one practical and the other miraculous. The practical option was for everyone to pray for a band of angels to come down from heaven and fix things. The miraculous option was for people to talk with one another until they could find a way forward.

During a robbery in Zimbabwe, the bank robber shouted to everyone in the bank: "Don't move. The money belongs to the State. Your life belongs to you."

Everyone in the bank lay down quietly. This is called the
"Mind Changing Concept" Changing the conventional way of thinking.

When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: "Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!"

This is called "Being Professional" Focus only on what you are trained to do!

When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA-trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): "Big brother, let's count how much we got."

The older robber rebutted and said: "You are very stupid.
There is so much money it will take us a long time to count.
Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!"

This is called "Experience." Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications!
After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said to him: "Wait! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bank".

This is called "Swim with the tide." Converting an unfavourable situation to your advantage!

The supervisor says: "It will be good if there is a robbery every month."
This is called "Killing Boredom."

Personal Happiness is more important than your job.

The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: "We risked our lives and only took $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!"

This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as gold!"

The bank manager was smiling and happy because his losses in the share market are now covered by this robbery.

This is called "Seizing the opportunity." Daring to take risks!

So who are the real robbers here?

_The Story of Vibhishana_

Vibhishana, Ravana's brother, opposed Ravana's evil ways and advised him to return Sita to Rama. When Ravana refused, Vibhishana bravely defected to Rama's side, despite knowing it meant fighting against his own family.

Vibhishana's courage and conviction in standing up against his own brother and joining the side of righteousness ultimately contributed to Ravana's downfall and Rama's victory.

Vibhishana's story showcases the courage to take a stand against evil, even when it means going against one's own kin.

Thanks to TV and for the convenience of TV, you can only be one of two kinds of human beings, either a liberal or a conservative.

Opinions are the cheapest commodities on earth. Everyone has a flock of opinions ready to be wished upon anyone who will accept them. If you are influenced by "opinions" when you reach DECISIONS, you will not succeed in any undertaking.

In his first inaugural address, during the depths of the Great Depression, US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt famously told Americans that, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Invoking the Book of Exodus, he went on to say that, “We are stricken by no plague of locusts.” Nothing tangible was causing the depression; the problem, in March 1933, was in people’s minds

Democracy is based on Abraham Lincoln’s principle that ‘you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time’.

This is a very funny election

1) BJP is celebrating because they are forming Government.

2) Congress is celebrating because they are crossing 100 seats

3) SP, RJD are celebrating because they got their support back

4) NCP-SP and SS- UBT happy because they showed all that they are boss.

5) TMC is happy because they saved their party from failing

6) Citizens are happy that the whichever Party they are following are happy.

Never before seen Congress and BJP both celebrating wins together in their Head quarters

And Most Importantly......Election Commission is Celebrating.....that Nobody is putting allegations of EVM Manipulations now

Issi Ko Toh Kehte Hain.....Sabka Saath.......Sabka Vikaas

True confidence is not about what you take from someone to restore yourself, but what you give back to your critics because they need it more than you do.

But many of us seek community solely to escape the fear of being alone. Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape.

There is the voice of our ego which keeps saying ‘react’ versus the voice of our conscience saying ‘maintain self respect and do not react.’ Whichever one wins, that becomes our personality.

The danger of expressing it is that it becomes a habit. Then if we suppress it and one day if we burst and we are left with a feeling of emptiness.

Try and conquer anger by being aware of your feelings , by accepting the fact that you cannot control another person or situation and by moving up with thought that you change yourself without blaming anyone. This will have an impact on others.

Who is your fallback..!!

People help you the way they know to help you. To help you to come out of stress, one friend will ask you to drink and another will ask you to meditate.

To overcome hurt, one friend will ask you to take revenge and get even, and another will ask you to forgive and get ahead with your life. ‘Who is your fallback’ makes all the difference.

Duryodhana’s predicament, in his own words, was, “I know what is right but I am not able to indulge in it. I know what is wrong but I am not able to avoid it.” He needed a fallback. His fallback was his uncle Shakuni, and resultantly, Duryodhana moved from bad to worse.

Arjuna’s predicament was different. He was allowing his personal emotions to dominate his sense of duty, and hence wanted to escape from the responsibilities he had towards upholding righteousness. He needed a fallback. His fallback was Krishna, and resultantly, Arjuna was restored to his greatness.

Humans we are, at some point or the other, we all  need a fallback. ‘Who is your fallback’ makes all the difference.

Without patience, we will learn less in life. We will see less. We will feel less. We will hear less. Ironically, rush and more usually mean less.
