Your input is needed on the proposal to deprecate the io1 address format and utilize ONLY the Ethereum 0x format across the ioTeX ecosystem and tools.

Here’s what IIP40 proposes

What: Deprecate io1 address format in favor of the 0x Ethereum format.

Why: Simplify UX, reduce errors, and align with Ethereum and industry standards.

User Actions: NO action required! io1 and 0x addresses are interchangeable and share the same private key.

Note: io1 format remains available for backward compatibility.
